SEMITAG-Grenoble: Battery-as-a-Service implementation

SEMITAG, who run the public transport network for the Grenoble Metropolis, has awarded NEoT Green Mobility the tender to provide batteries for 7 Alstom-Aptis electric buses acquired from CATP. The operation is scheduled to start in September 2020 and will run for a period of 8 years. SEMITAG is 51.75% owned by the Syndicat Mixte des Transports en Commun and 40% by Transdev. NGM is deploying its innovative Battery-As-A-Service solution as part of a public procurement contract in conjunction with the purchasing solutions offered by the CATP (purchasing office for public transport).
